Hutterite branding
Stampede is a good time to celebrate Alberta traditions. Spring branding is as much a social occasion as it is a chore. It doesn't matter whether you're on a ranch out on the prairie or here at the Pincher Creek Hutterite Colony, it's a time for friends and neighbours to get together and get the job done, as illustrated in these photos by Postmedia photographer Leah Hennel.
